black male handcuffs Palm Coast, FL - 3 men are behind bars after deputies say they shot at a man in his car. The Flagler County Sheriff's Office arrested the 3 suspects on Tuesday night in Palm Coast's L section after the incident was reported at the Kangaroo gas station on 1500 Palm Coast Parkway. The 19-year-old victim told deputies that he saw a gold Mazda sedan with 5 people inside while he was driving and he recognized 4 of them from a similar incident that happened last month. He knew them from school, according to FCSO. The victim said he saw 1 of the men in the backseat of the Mazda flash a gun, causing him to speed off as 5 or 6 shots were fired, according to the report. He wasn't hurt but  FCSO did find a bullet hole in the rear bumper of the victim's car. An off-duty FCSO deputy spotted the gold Mazda later that night driving around London Drive and Lewisdale Drive and reported it to on-duty deputies. They eventually found the vehicle near Old Kings Road and Frenora Drive and pulled it over. 19-year-old Jean-Louis Steverson - the driver - and 23-year-old Derek E. Hall - a passenger - were both arrested during the stop. The 3rd suspect - 17-year-old Phillip J. Haire - was found at his home on London Drive and also arrested. All 3 suspects were booked at Flagler County Jail on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and shooting into a vehicle. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending, according to FCSO. Haire was the victim of a shooting last July 28th which left him critically injured. Zaire Roberts - 16 years old at the time - was arrested that September and charged with attempted 1st-degree murder in that incident. jean-louis steverson
