Deltona, FL - A Deltona man was arrested for sending death threats on Facebook Messenger claiming he would kill his ex-girlfriend, and those messages got in the hands of a 14-year-old girl. On Tuesday afternoon, Volusia County deputies responded to a home on Shorecrest Avenue in Deltona. The mother of the 14-year-old girl reported that her daughter had been receiving Facebook Messenger messages from 21-year-old Ryan Tremblay. In the messages, Tremblay threatened to kill the girl's brother, as well as another woman. The woman turned out to be Tremblay's ex-girlfriend. The woman said she had been trying to break up with Tremblay for a while, but Tremblay "was not taking the breakup well." According to Volusia County Sheriff's Office reports, there were a total of nine messages, and two of them were threatening. In one of the threats, Tremblay stated that he was "not kidding about the dead part." Deputies tracked Tremblay down at a home on Stillwater Avenue in Deltona, and he was taken into custody. He was held on $5,000 bond. Tremblay's mugshot courtesy Volusia County Jail.
