Daytona Beach, FL - Police on the "World's Most Famous Beach" add 11 more arrests to their ongoing slew of prostitution stings.

The stings took place over the weekend, all involving those women and undercover officers with the Daytona Beach Police Department. Each officer stood and waited in areas where prostitution is prevalent, as they waited for a defendant.

Those areas include South Ridgewood Avenue, North Segrave Street and Fremont Avenue, just to name a few.

When defendants met up with the undercover officers, they exchanged cash for services, before being led into custody.

10 of the defendants were arrested for prostitution, while one defendant, 31-year-old Joy Daniels was arrested for soliciting a lewd act after she tried to make an officer expose himself to determine if he was undercover or not.

Seven of the arrested were also doubly charged with varying degrees of possession, including paraphernalia, meth, heroin, cocaine and cannabis possession.

One defendant, 26-year-old Chelsea Johnson, was also found to have an open warrant in Seminole County for failure to appear in reference to possession of drug paraphernalia.
