Seville, FL - Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is investigating a fiery crash that killed a woman and injured two others near CR 305 and McGlon Road early Sunday morning.

According to the crash report, a Chevy SUV was driving westbound on CR 305 at around 4:15 AM. For an unknown reason, the driver traveled off the roadway and onto the north shoulder. The driver overcorrected and the SUV flipped several times and caught on fire.

A 21-year-old female occupant from Crescent City, FL, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. The report indicates she was not wearing a seatbelt. Emergency workers located a male occupant carrying a female occupant away from the crash scene after the male called 911. Both sustained serious injuries and were taken to Halifax Health Medical Center.

At this time, FHP does not know which occupant was driving the vehicle at the time of the crash. It is unknown whether alcohol was a factor in the crash or if the other occupants were wearing seatbelts.
