When deputies searched the trio, they found stolen credit cards, ammunition, and other items.

Deputies also found a white crystalline substance in their possession. The suspects told deputies that they made a batch of fake crack cocaine from an over-the-counter powder that they intended to sell.

“We had a resident notice the suspicious activity on their home security camera and call the Sheriff’s

Office communications center immediately,” said Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly. “The suspects are well known to law enforcement and it’s time DJJ and the juvenile court system stop the catch and release system and deal with these offenders.”

All three were arrested with 15 counts of burglary as well as a variety of other charges.

The 16-year-old male was charged with possession of a counterfeit substance with the intent to sell.
