Port Orange, FL - A Port Orange man is now in custody with bond set at $1 million after deputies say he sexually abused two young girls.

The Volusia Sheriff's Office (VSO) took 24-year-old Christopher Zinck into custody from his Orange Boulevard home late Wednesday night (December 16th). His arrest came after deputies were able to secure an arrest warrant for two counts of sexual battery of a child following an investigation that began earlier this year.

According to investigators, the victims—two young girls, aged 11 and 14—told detectives that Zinck sexually abused them multiple times, at multiple locations, over the course of more than a year. Investigators added that Zinck is not a stranger to the girls and the abuse occurred when he was trusted to be alone with them.

The investigation into Zinck continues. The Sheriff's Office is urging anyone who has any information about potential additional victims to step forward and speak with investigators. Those with information can call the Volusia Sheriff's Child Exploitation Unit at 386-323-3574.

At the time of this report's publication, Zinck remains in jail on a bond set at $1 million.
