The Volusia School Board on Tuesday approved a series of ten administrative appointments to a variety of key job positions throughout the district. The appointments were the centerpiece of the Board's Tuesday meeting agenda.
The most notable of the appointments may be that of Andrew Langenbach, who will be serving as Volusia County Schools' ESE & ADA Compliance Attorney. Students within the exceptional student education (ESE) program and those with protections under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) require special accommodations from the school district for a robust education, an area in which Langenbach will specialize. He brings experience as an assistant state attorney within Florida's 7th Judicial Circuit, plus a stint as senior attorney with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).
Private sector experience of Langenbach's includes time with Booker and Associates, the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities, and Alsalam Aerospace Industries among others. Langenbach's social media lists his education as a Bachelor's of Science in International Political Science from the University of Central Florida and a Juris Doctor in Law from the University of Miami Law School.
The list of appointments made are as follows with their role, per the Volusia County School Board's meeting notes.
