DeLand, FL - Parents of Volusia County Schools students have about a week to make any changes to their children's learning option. On February 5th, students will be locked-in to whatever learning option they are in.
Students will be required to remain in their learning option (remote or in-person) through the end of the school year June 4th. Brick and mortar students who have to miss school temporarily due to COVID-19 will be kept on track with their assignments.
The district says that it's "critical" for students to have consistency in learning during the remainder of the school year.
