UPDATE TUESDAY 12:36 pm: Sheriff Mike Chitwood delivered an update on Tuesday shedding more light on the stabbing. The three children in the house were ages 10, 5, and 2, and the 10 year-old was said to have gone to a neighbor for help.

The kids' mother was Bianca Tovar. Tovar was pronounced dead at the scene, but according to forensic analysis showed signs of having fought back against her husband. Chitwood says the husband, Oscar Salazar, was declared dead at the hospital after fatally stabbing Tovar and himself.

The situation was an apparent domestic dispute stemming from the discipline of one of their children. Salazar was living in the United States under a stolen identity, and has prior arrests for domestic violence.
