Daytona Beach, FL - The unofficial election results for the Daytona Beach City Commission Zone 2 seat calls for a run-off election in November. The candidates will be Ken Strickland who got 384 votes and Larry McDermott who got 371.
The other two candidates, Tony Servance and Kristine Gray received 219 and 110 votes, respectively.
Strickland got 35.4 percent and McDermott 34.2 percent of the vote. To win outright yesterday, a candidate needed to receive 50 percent of the vote plus one, to be declared the winner. The run-off election will take place on November 2, 2021.
