Public's Help Needed To Identify Piercing Pagoda Bandit

Posted

Daytona Beach, FL -  Daytona Beach Police are looking for the person they say stole an estimated $20,000 worth of merchandise from Piercing Pagoda at the Volusia Mall last week.

The theft was reported by the store manager on November 25.  She told officers that she had locked everything up in the business, which is a kiosk in the center of the mall, the night (November 24) before.  The morning employee came in to find the wood doors to the glass jewelry case had been pried open, with jewelry missing and boxes were strewn about the business.  The report states that access to the kiosk itself is not secure but each individual showcase has its own lock.

Police officers checked the area for video surveillance and found the man in the photos with this story after the store had closed.

If you recognize the man in the pictures or know anything about the robbery, please contact Detective Simone Alexander at (386) 671-5218 or by email AlexanderSimone@dbpd.us regarding Case 190023406.
