Palm Coast "R" Section Shooting Is Now A Homicide Investigation

Palm Coast, FL - A shooting investigation in Palm Coast's "R" section is now a homicide investigation. The Flagler County Sheriff's Office confirms that one of the victim's, Zaire Roberts, was found dead inside a home on Regent Lane. The other victim is hospitalized. A $5,000 reward is being offered by CrimeStoppers of Northeast Florida for information in this case.

Detectives and Crime Scene Investigation(CSI) found evidence suggesting gunfire was exchanged inside the house. Sheriff Rick Staly wants you to know that they worked through the New Year's weekend in order to determine what happened.

“We have already received several helpful tips from the community over the holiday weekend,” Sheriff Staly said. “We want to reiterate that there is currently a $5,000.00 reward through CrimeStoppers of Northeast Florida for information leading to an arrest. We want to thank the community for their ongoing support and to encourage anyone else with information about this shooting to come forward. These cases can be complicated and take time to solve, but the information and evidence we have received indicates that we are on the right track and that we will successfully resolve this case.”
