Palm Coast, FL-UPDATE: The second suspect in a fatal Palm Coast home invasion, 19-year-old Carl Devore, surrendered this afternoon at the FCSO Operations Center.  Detectives have obtained a warrant for second-degree felony murder and attempted home invasion robbery. Devore is at the Flagler County Inmate Facility and is being held without bond.  Investigators have learned that Devore and the second suspect armed themselves with weapons and went to the home looking for marijuana. Earlier reporting: An armed suspect in a home invasion overnight in Palm Coast was reportedly shot and killed by the armed resident of the home.  The suspect has been identified as 28-year-old Victor Betty of Palm Coast. Two suspects, both men, reportedly entered the home on Frank Place around 2 AM. A sheriff's spokesman says both suspects were armed. When officers arrived on the scene, they found several people in the home.  They are identified as Darien Corbett, Jimmie Hoffman, Jonathan Wieda, Kathryn Bryan and Koda Crawford.  There was also a 2-year-old child in the home.  Officers ordered the people out of the home to check their identities and get information on what had happened. Police say Darien Corbett told them when the suspects tried to kick his bedroom door in, he was able to hold it closed while retrieving his 40 caliber gun.  Corbett then opened the door to a suspect pointing a gun in his face.  He said he got off two shots before his gun stopped working.  The suspect was pronounced dead by Flagler County Rescue.
