Daytona Beach, FL - Police are currently working the scene of a possible home invasion off of Westmoreland Road.
The Daytona Beach Police Department has confirmed that two people, a man and a woman who are residents of 645 Westmoreland Road, were shot. Both were transported to Halifax Health Medical Center.
One has since died as the other remains in critical condition.
Detectives remain on the scene at Westmoreland.
