New Smyrna Beach Asks For Citizens Opinions On Parks System

Posted

New Smyrna Beach, FL - New Smyrna Beach city officials are asking residents for their opinions with the ongoing Parks Master Plan Survey. There are eight questions asking things like what is your favorite park and why, which park has the most potential for improvement, and your zip code. Filling out the survey will let city leaders know what you think the future of New Smyrna Beach's park system should be. There are 36 parks and recreational facilities across the city.

The city has created an online 360-degree virtual meeting room where you can find the city's parks division's mission and goals, the master plan project steps, a map of the parks system, a summary of efforts so far, a summary of the parks inventory, and the park system's level of service standards.

If you still have questions, you can contact Assistant City Manager Brian Fields at bfields@cityofnsb.com or call him at 386-410-2836.
