Palm Coast, FL - Flagler deputies charge a man with battery on a senior after he shoved a 79-year-old woman and yanked off a set of cardiac monitor wires connected to her chest.

The Flagler County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) first learned about the incident after deputies were called to an L-section home just after 9:30 Sunday night (April 11th) for a domestic disturbance. After law enforcement arrived they made contact with the caller who told them 24-year-old Jordan Greendale pushed the woman and removed the wires on her chest.

According to a report from FCSO, the argument started when Greendale and the victim began to argue about his girlfriend. As they argued, Greendale grabbed the bags and shoved the woman with his right shoulder. After that is when Greendale pulled the mobile cardiac monitor wires off her chest. He then left the home after he learned law enforcement was called.

While they were unable to locate him initially, the victim was able to tell deputies where he would be Monday morning (April 12th). The victim also stated that she did not want to press charges, but FCSO said in a release that deputies found enough evidence to charge Greendale with battery on a senior regardless.

Deputies later arrived where Greendale was working and arrested him. He currently remains in custody without bond.
