Daytona Beach, FL - An Ormond Beach man who was formerly an Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University professor is convicted on nine felony counts of sexual misconduct with a minor.
A Volusia County jury took just one hour and 16 minutes to find 61-year-old Mark Fugler guilty on all counts.
Fugler allegedly showed pornographic material to an elementary-aged minor, gratified himself in front of the child and solicited the minor child to touch him sexually between August 2014 and June 2016. He was arrested in November 2016 and was suspended from ERAU in August 2017.
A sentencing date has not been set. Fugler maximum possible penalty is 105 years in a state prison facility.
