Flagler County Holding Pfizer Vaccine Event

Posted

Bunnell, FL - Flagler County Emergency Management Director Jonathan Lord reports that Flagler Health (formerly Flagler Hospital)  is offering doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to the county. “Flagler Health is making 800 doses available to our residents, and we still have open appointment slots available,” said Lord. “Younger people – 16- and 17-year-olds – are eligible for the Pfizer vaccine, unlike with the Moderna. Of course, they will have to be accompanied by their legal guardians.”

The Pfizer vaccine is the only one approved for 16- and 17-year-olds so parents and guardians are encouraged to print out the online consent form at flaglercounty.org for the event taking place this Friday, April 23, at the Flagler County Emergency Services Building. You can register for the vaccination here. It is open to all ages.
