Daytona Beach, FL - State troopers are asking the public to be on the lookout for a driver that caused a newlywed couple's car to overturn, leading to the driver sustaining life-threatening injuries.

Florida Highway Patrol says a white Dodge Charger was merging onto southbound I-95 at LPGA Boulevard in Daytona Beach on Sunday (September 12) when it collided with the couple's car. After causing the car to flip, the driver of the Dodge Charger fled the scene. The driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The couple had just arrived in Florida from Tennessee for their honeymoon when the crash happened. The updated condition of the driver is not known at this time.

The Dodge Charger will have heavy front end damage now if seen. Anyone with information on its whereabouts, or its driver's whereabouts, is asked to contact investigators at (407) 737-2200 or Crime Stoppers at 800-423-TIPS (8477).
