PALM COAST - The Flagler County Sheriff's Office announced on Thursday that a major drug bust was executed in Palm Coast this week, resulting in the seizure of large quantities of multiple deadly narcotics.

The busts took place at 25 Wood Ash Lane, in Palm Coast's W section, and at 500 N Central Ave in Flagler Beach. In conjunction with the FCSO's Special Investigations Unit (SIU) and SWAT team, deputies served two narcotics search warrants simultaneously. The warrants were obtained through the work of multiple undercover operations by the SIU, according to the FCSO's statement.

Two arrests were made in the busts: Palm Coast's Jason Rowe was charged with methamphetamine possession with intent to sell and drug paraphernalia possession. Flagler Beach's Scott Andersen, meanwhile, was charged with methamphetamine possession with intent to sell, fentanyl trafficking, possession of Schedule II substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Andersen has posted bond since being booked, while Rowe is still in custody as of Friday afternoon. Among the substances seized on Tuesday were fentanyl, methamphetamine, oxycodone, and unnamed paraphernalia.

“Excellent work by our SIU and SWAT team to get these poison peddlers off the street,” said Sheriff Rick Staly of the bust. “There is no way to know how many lives were saved by getting this poison off the street."
