Palm Coast, FL - The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office is charging a 16-year-old female at Flagler Palm Coast High School with felony written threat to conduct a mass shooting.

The message was brought to FCSO’s attention by another student’s mother who said she saw group messages about “shooting up the school.” One message stated, “I’m gonna murder someone” and another “I’m straight up gonna be a serial killer.”

Deputies went to the suspect’s home where she admitted to having the Instagram account the messages were posted from. She was willing to talk but her mother advised her not to.

She is being held at the Department of Juvenile Justice in Daytona Beach.
