Edgewater, FL - FHP says a father and son from St. Augustine were killed in a single-vehicle rollover wreck on I-95 near Edgewater on Thursday.
Michael Bradford, 63, was driving a 1999 Ford Pickup Truck with his 27-year-old son, Warren Bradford, in the passenger seat at around 3:05 PM on June 1. They were heading north on I-95 at mile marker 246 near Edgewater when the tread on the truck's front, left tire separated, causing Michael to lose control of the vehicle. The truck left the roadway and hit a culvert then went airborne and flipped. The roof of the pickup then hit a tree.
Both Michael and Warren were pronounced dead at the scene. They were both wearing seatbelts. The crash remains under investigation.
