Daytona Beach, FL - Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, for the seventh consecutive year, is ranked in the top five online bachelor's degree providers in the country. That's according to U.S. News & World Report.

Dr. Jason Ruckert, Vice-Chancellor and Chief Digital Learning Officer, says that affordability, academic quality enhanced by cutting-edge interactive technologies, and student success are what sets Embry-Riddle apart. He also said that this is a great year for recognition for Embry Riddle. "This year is great recognition for Embry-Riddle. We are second in the nation in the online degree program at the bachelor's level and first in the nation for online bachelor's degrees for veterans.

Embry-Riddle is the only institution to be in the top five every year for the past five years, according to Ruckert, being named either number one or number two each year.  "Our programs are very unique. I think that if you look at the rankings themselves, you'll see a lot of large-scale universities that are public universities. We're the only private university that's been ranked so highly and we're the only one that has been really consistent."

He said "We really have a great passion for our veterans. In fact, our worldwide campus was actually created to support veterans.  We do think it's a great privilege for us to serve our military and to be able to do so in such a dispersed network that we with our worldwide campus and our online programs.  We want to get them degrees that either helps them promote themselves within the military or help them when they're transitioning out.?

According to alumni surveys, 95 percent of graduates are employed or in graduate school within a year of graduation.
