Daytona Beach, FL - The home of the Falcons will also be home to a pair of National Junior College Athletic Association championships.

Just recently, Daytona State College announced that the NJCAA has selected DSC to host two different championships come 2021. Those championships will be the NJCAA Women's National Golf Championship and the NJCAA Women's Soccer Championship.

A win-win situation, according to DSC's Athletics Director, Will Dunn.

"It's an opportunity for us to help bring a great event and exposure to the local Daytona Beach area," said Dunn. "It's also a combination of our athletics and academic programs working together."

Daytona State is no stranger when it comes to hosting championships. Last November, DSC hosted the NJCAA Division 1 Men's National Soccer Championship, which brought 12 teams to the area.

That championship, which was won by Arizona's Pima Community College, came just a year after DSC wrapped up construction on their brand new soccer stadium.

The 2021 women's golf championship will also be the 14th time DSC has hosted the tournament at LPGA. The championship is scheduled for May 10th through the 13th, with a practice day on the 9th.

Then, a few months later, the women's soccer championships will run at their soccer stadium on campus from November 15th to the 20th.

"These tournaments are an excellent opportunity for us to showcase Daytona State College on a national level," said DSC President Tom LoBasso.

The Lady Falcons will also be hosting this year's golf championship at LPGA, which is slated to run between May 13th and 16th, when they will vie for their 11th national title in 17 years.
