Deltona, FL - Volusia County deputies are on the lookout for four men they say attacked a 17-year-old off of East Chapel Drive.

The Volusia Sheriff's Office says that the four men were described as a heavy set Hispanic male with a bowl or afro haircut, a thin Hispanic male with black shorts, an average-build black male with dreadlocks wearing all black, and a tall, extremely thin white male with a crew cut and armed with brass knuckles.

Everything took place around 1:40 Thursday afternoon (April 23rd). During the attack, the suspects were confronted by the victim's family and dogs as they fled the area. While they were leaving, they pointed guns at the victim and his family members and fired several shots. Fortunately, no one was shot.

Surveillance at a nearby house captured the suspect vehicle driving around the area prior to the incident. The vehicle seems to be a newer model – possibly a 2017 – burgundy Kia Forte.

VSO is working to identify these individuals and the public is asked to help. You can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward by contacting Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida at 888-277-TIPS or by using the P3 Tips app. To contact the detective directly, email echeek@vcso.us.
