Deltona, FL - A Volusia County resident is in jail on a $55,000 bond after investigators discovered sexually charged chats between them and a 14-year-old Georgia girl.

According to investigators with the Volusia Sheriff's Office (VSO), the suspect, 34-year-old Truneika Ramos, AKA Dejon or D.J. Ramos, communicated with the suspect via a variety of gaming platforms and apps including Paladins, an online shooter game, and AFK Arena, a mobile game.

The investigation, which began in March 2020 with the Dawson County Sheriff's Office in Georgia, determined that Ramos carried out sexually explicit text and video communications with the underaged victim, was aware of her age, and believed the two were in a relationship.

Ramos was arrested on Thursday (February 18th), charged with using a computer to solicit a child and unlawful use of a two-way communication device. They remain in custody with bond set at $55,000.
