DeLand, FL - DeLand Police are looking for two suspects they say beat and robbed a physically disabled man late Sunday afternoon.

Police responded to downtown DeLand at 120 East New York Avenue after the 43-year-old man told authorities that he'd been robbed outside the location at 5:15 p.m.

The victim said he was approached by two men, one wearing a white t-shirt and dark pants and another wearing a gray hoodie, a face mask, and gray sweatpants. Video footage from a nearby business shows the man in the white t-shirt punching the victim a number of times while the other man rummaged through the victim's pockets.

The suspects stole cash and the victim's car keys, then fled on foot. It's not known if the car was stolen.

The victim was taken to AdventHealth DeLand, where he was treated for injuries and released.

Anyone with information on the suspects or the robbery is asked to contact DeLand PD Detective Anthony Bota at 386-626-7422. You can submit an anonymous tip to volusia.crimewatchfl.com
