Daytona Beach, FL - Daytona Beach Police (DBPD) are looking for 26-year-old Byron Malone in relation to a shooting at the Seven Star food store yesterday (May 4) afternoon. Malone stands 6'1 and weighs around 170 pounds. His last registered address is in South Daytona. He also could be considered armed and dangerous.
DBpd Public Information Officer Messod Bendayan confirms that DBPD got a report of a shooting at 4:17 p.m. The victim was in his car when he was shot several times. The shooter fled the area on foot.
The victim drove a few blocks away from the scene before calling DBPD for help. He was hit by at least one bullet. He was transported to Halifax Health Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
