DBPD Looking For Man In Homicide Of His Relative

Daytona Beach, FL -  The Daytona Beach Police are asking for the public's help in locating 39-year-old James Williams, Jr. AKA Greyhound.  He's wanted in relation to the shooting death of a relative last night (November 23).

9-1-1 calls came in at 8:05 p.m. reporting that a person had been shot at a home located at 412 N. Caroline Street. Officers responding found the victim, 36-year-old Leonie Smith, already deceased from a single gunshot wound to the upper body.

According to information released by the DBPD, the investigation shows that Williams and Smith were arguing which led to the single shot being fired. Williams fled prior to police arrival.
