Daytona Beach, FL - The Daytona Beach Police Department (DBPD) says there's a reward of up to $5,000 for information or tips leading to the arrest of 39-year-old James Williams, who is wanted in the homicide of his cousin, Leonie Smith on November 23, 2020.
According to a Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida press release, Williams is believed to occasionally dress in women's clothing to keep him from being captured. He's also known to have several female acquaintances who allow him to stay at their residence. They say Williams is familiar with the transient lifestyle and could be living on the streets.
DBPD does have a warrant for Williams's arrest in connection to Smith's death. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 888-277-TIPS or online at northeastflorida.crimestoppersweb.com. You can also download the app from the website. You can remain anonymous.
