DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The missing juvenile who triggered an Amber alert Monday evening in and around Volusia County has been located safely, according to the Daytona Beach Police Department. 14 year-old Barbora Zdanska was considered missing for hours.

According to the DBPD, Zdanska was located safely in Marion County, leading to the cancellation of the previous night's Amber alert.

Before being reported missing, Zdanska was last spotted around the 100 block of Boynton Boulevard in Daytona Beach, and associated with a blue 2014 Dodge Caravan. She was also said to be in the company of a 14 year-old boy.

Zdanska was reported missing when her father discovered she was not home Sunday morning. The girl's bedroom window was reportedly open. Initial reports said she'd been taken to Jacksonville, far from her eventual discovery near Ocala.
