DeLand, FL - Another round of COVID-19 vaccine distribution is on the calendar for January 14th and 15th, this time in DeLand. The distribution is limited to those ages 65 and older. The vaccinations will be by appointment only but scheduling is not yet open.
The DeLand City Comission approved an agreement at their meeting last night to provide space for future vaccination events to include the Sanborn Center, Chisholm Community Center, City Hall and the Dr. Joyce M. Cusack Resource Center.
At this time, only the date and location for the distribution are available. The event taking place on January 14th and 15th will happen at the Sanborn Center, located at 815 South Alabama Avenue.
Appointments are not being taken yet because it's unknown right now how many doses of the vaccine will be received.
