Ormond Beach, FL - One of the suspects involved in the death of a 73-year-old Ormond Beach woman now faces vehicular homicide charges.

And police believe they've found the other vehicle involved.

Back on June 4th, 24-year-old Erik Worthington was racing northbound on Nova Road in Ormond Beach when he struck Mary Spanos' Cadillac SUV as she turned onto Nova from Shadow Lakes Boulevard.

Originally, at the time of his arrest, Worthington was only facing misdemeanor charges related to racing and reckless driving with property damage.

But, court documents updated on Friday (June 14th) show that Worthington is now facing vehicular homicide charges.

Those charges were also confirmed by Keith Walker, the Public Information Officer for the Ormond Beach Police Department.

Walker also confirmed that officers have found the blue Subaru that was seen racing Worthington.

According to Walker, Ormond Beach police are investigating the driver, but they are not releasing their name just yet.

Worthington was rearrested last week and given a $25,000 bond. Spencer Hathaway, the Public Information Officer with the State Attorney's Office, says he has since bonded out again.
