Port Orange, FL - CareerSource Flagler Volusia is hosting the 8th annual Paychecks for Patriots Hiring Fair tomorrow, November 19. This special hiring fair is dedicated to helping local veterans.
Tomorrow's hiring fair will take place at the Port Orange Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 3282, located at 5810 S. Williamson Boulevard. Hours are from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. for veterans and their eligible spouses. The fair opens to all from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.
This statewide initiative is an effort to address the employment needs of service members and veterans across the state. The annual Paychecks for Patriots events bring together employers with current position openings in Florida and veteran and military family candidates. The program matches veterans with businesses who value the knowledge, skills, and attributes attained during military service.
