Daytona Beach, FL - What's billed as "The World's Largest Truck Show" is less than three days away, opening on Thursday, June 10 at One Daytona for the Pre-Party followed by a vendor party.

From event-holder Truck Fever LLC: No masks required, no temperature screenings, and no COVID waivers.

The Daytona Beach Police Department (DBPD) said that more than 5,000 custom trucks and over 35,000 spectators are expected in the area during the weekend.  Starting Friday, the events and the vendors will be at Daytona International Speedway and One Daytona but that doesn't mean the trucks won't be everywhere else around town.

Events will take place daily at the Speedway between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. except for Sunday when the hours will be from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. During previous meets, once the events are over, the trucks head to the beach. For more information, visit daytonatruckmeet.com.

Police and traffic control officers will be on duty in the area of the Speedway and along Atlantic /A1A to assist with event traffic and local traffic. Parking lot gatherings will not be tolerated.

For residents and workers that need to get to the beach, DBPD has "Pink P" passes available any time at headquarters or between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. at the Beachside Precinct located at 510 Harvey Avenue. You will need proper I.D.  You can call the DBPD front desk at 386-671-5100 for more information.

During special events, the "P-pass" will give you access to beachside at the Main Street Bridge. Just put it on your dashboard. If you don't have the "P-pass," you won't be able to cross the Main St. Bridge during special events and you will be directed towards the high-rise bridges at International Speedway Boulevard, Oakridge/Seabreeze Boulevard, or Orange/Silver Beach Avenue to get to beachside.
