The Volusia Sheriff's Office announced late last week that ten massage parlors in the county had been identified as the sites of prostitution setups. The findings were the conclusion of an investigation involving the VSO, Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, East and West Volusia Narcotics Task Forces, and Deltona Narcotics Enforcement Team.
According to the report, detectives found that ten out of a series of locations they looked into had been found to be conducting prostitution. None of the individuals involved are thought to be victims of human trafficking according to the VSO, and the investigation is now being done by Homeland Security Investigations, the Department of Health, and the Department of Business and Professional Regulations.

It's not yet clear how many individuals have been hit with criminal charges from the investigation, or whether the businesses will be shut down.
