1 Injured In Bunnell Gunfight, Suspects Sought

Bunnell, FL - Police in Bunnell say one person suffered non-life-threatening injuries after two males engaged each other in a gunfight.

The Bunnell Police Department (BPD) says Flagler County dispatch received several 911 calls regarding multiple gunshots near the intersection of East Booe Street and South Church Street Monday afternoon (February 15th).

A preliminary investigation into the shooting determined that two African-American males were engaged in a gunfight, leading officers to find nearly 20 spent bullet casings of different calibers near the crime scene.

According to investigators, one person was struck by gunfire and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. They were driven to AdventHealth in Palm Coast following the shooting. Furthermore, investigators believe that a second person might have been shot or grazed during the shooting, according to information sent to BPD.
