Port Orange, FL — Students in grades 4 – 8 from 37 schools will participate in the Volusia County Schools Spelling Bee at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, at Port Orange Elementary, 402 Dunlawton Ave.
The winner and runner-up will advance to the Orlando Sentinel District Bee on March 21. The winner of that competition will have the opportunity to compete in the National Spelling Bee in Washington, DC in late May.
