Master Gardner Plans Plant Clinics Around Volusia County

Volusia County, FL- Volusia County’s master gardeners will share winter gardening tips

and answer questions during eight plant clinics in December. Residents

can bring their plants for a free check-up.

· 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, at the DeLand Regional Library, 130 E. Howry Ave., DeLand

·10 a.m. to noon Monday, Dec. 5, at the Ormond Beach Regional Library, 30 S. Beach St., Ormond Beach

·10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Dec. 6, at the Edgewater Public Library, 103 W. Indian River Blvd., Edgewater

·1:30 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, at the New Smyrna Beach Regional Library, 1001 S. Dixie Freeway,

New Smyrna Beach

· 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Deltona Regional Library, 2150 Eustace Ave., Deltona

·2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13, at the Port Orange Regional Library, 1005 City Center Circle, Port Orange

·10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Dec. 20, at the DeBary Public Library, 200 N. Charles R. Beall Blvd., DeBary

·9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, at Sugar Mill Gardens, 950 Sugar Mill Road, Port Orange

After the Deltona plant clinic, Master Gardener Howard Jeffries will

discuss the history of gardening from 11 a.m. to noon.

Master gardeners are volunteers who answer gardening questions at the

Volusia County Agricultural Center, present horticultural classes to

community groups, and staff information booths at fairs and garden
