22nd Annual Bruce Rossmeyer Ride For Children Coming Up

Eustis, FL – September 20, 2016 – On Sunday, October 2, more than 600 bikers will take a police escorted motorcycle ride from Destination Daytona to Camp Boggy Creek, a camp where children with serious illnesses and their families can enjoy a fun-filled experience with no limitations. The 22nd annual Bruce Rossmeyer Ride for Children event will start at 10 a.m. – with registration opening at 7 a.m. - in Daytona and end in Eustis around 11:15 a.m.

Riders can chose between two levels of registration fees. The VIP Package ($300 for riders & $275 for passengers) includes admission to the “Roaring 20s Gala” held the night before the ride on Saturday, October 1 at Destination Daytona with dinner, cocktails, live music, live auctions and more. The Basic Package ($50 per rider/passenger) includes the “No Boots Down” ride from Destination Daytona to Camp Boggy Creek where riders will enjoy lunch by Outback Steakhouse, live music and a live auction. Non-riders are welcome to attend the “Roaring 20s Gala” (tickets are $250 per person) on October 1st.

The fundraising goal for this year’s Ride for Children is $350,000. The funds raised will benefit the lives of children with serious illnesses and their families by enabling them to enjoy a life-enhancing camp experience free of charge.
