Deltona, FL - A 31-year-old woman crashed her vehicle into a Deltona home on Thursday and caused a crash involving three other vehicles. The woman was traveling northbound on Freeport Dr. in Deltona just before 8 AM on Thursday and did not stop at a stop sign, according to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office. The woman's vehicle struck another vehicle that was traveling westbound on Saxon Blvd. The woman hit a second vehicle that was traveling southbound on Freeport Dr., then her vehicle hit a parked SUV in the driveway at 1322 Freeport Dr. She then hit the outside wall of the home at the address. A total of four vehicles were involved in the crash, including the woman's vehicle, according to Laura Williams, Public Information Officer for VCSO. The home's interior was not damaged. Four people involved in the incident, including the driver, were transported to area hospitals, and they suffered only minor injuries. "No injuries were reported from the residents inside the home," Williams says. The woman who crashed her vehicle into the home was issued a citation for running the stop sign, but she is not currently facing any criminal charges. Copyright Southern Stone Communications 2017.
