Daytona Beach, FL – According to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office (VCSO), a woman pulled over on I-4 after witnessing a crash and was carjacked by the people she tried to help. The crash occurred in Daytona Beach at 5:40 AM Saturday morning on the westbound side of I-4 near mile marker 128. 3 men involved in the accident stole the 34-year-old woman’s car after she offered to help them. The car, a 2012 dark blue convertible Ford Mustang, has the Florida tag V83-4QC and has a black vinyl top, a spoiler and no tint on the windows. The men were black and believed to be in their teens or early 20s. One was large, wearing jeans and a striped shirt, while the other two were thinner. They were seen putting an unresponsive, bleeding woman their age into the stolen car. The woman had short dreadlocks and was wearing a red sweatshirt with a hood, brown jeans, and black shoes. The carjackers drove off westbound and they are wanted on charges of carjacking by the VCSO. The crash is being investigated by the Florida Highway Patrol and the car involved in the crash was a stolen car. If you see the car, or the individuals believed to be involved, you are asked to not approach them and to call 911 immediately.
