City of Daytona Beach Shores The City of Daytona Beach Shores has bags available for residents, but no sand will be provided. There's a limit of 3 bags per person, residents must show their ID, and 10 bags per condo association. Bags are available from 8 AM to 4:30 PM today and tomorrow at Daytona Beach Shores City Hall (2990 S. Atlantic Ave.) and Daytona Beach Shores Public Safety Department (3050 S. Atlantic Ave.). DeBary The city of DeBary will have sand available on Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 3 PM at DeBary City Hall (16 Colomba Rd.). Residents must fill their own bags and there's a limit of 10 sandbags per household. For more info call the Public Works Department at 386-668-2040. Deltona The City of Deltona will offer sandbags today through Thursday from 8 AM to 4 PM at Festival Park (191 Howland Blvd.). Residents will be given 11 filled sandbags and can have an additional 11 empty bags to fill at home if necessary. Edgewater The City of Edgewater has sand available while supplies last. Residents must bring their own shovels and bags. Double-lined trash bags work just as well as sandbags. Sand's available 24 hours a day at Station #57 (2628 Hibiscus Ave.), Menard-May Park (413 S. Riverside Dr.), Mango Tree Lake (901 Mango Tree Dr.), and Airpark Road Staging area (1989 Airpark Rd.). Holly Hill The City of Holly Hill has sand and bags available in front of the Public Works Department at 453 LPGA Blvd through the end of the week. Residents must bring their own shovels to fill their own bags. Orange City Orange City residents may pick up sandbags until 4 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday at the Waggin' Trail Dog Park, 1201 S. Leavitt Ave. Sand, bags and shovels will be provided. Residents must fill their own bags. There is a limit of 10 sandbags per household. Oak Hill The City of Oak Hill has sand available, which can be picked up between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. through Thursday at City Hall, 234 U.S. Hwy. 1, Oak Hill. Residents must supply their own bags and shovel. City of Ormond Beach The City’s Public Works Department is open for City residents to pick up sand bags until 2:30 p.m. today, Tuesday, August 30, and from 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, August 31. Staff is monitoring weather conditions to determine if additional days will be necessary and will advise accordingly. Each household may receive 10 sand bags. Residents must provide identification. Sand bags can be picked up at the Public Works Department located at 501 N. Orchard Street, Ormond Beach. Flagler County, FL - Flagler County and it's cities are making sand and sandbags available to residents throughout the county. Residents will need to bring their own shovels to fill bags. “We want to do everything we can to help residents protect their property,” County Administrator Craig Coffey said. “Rains and flooding are localized so we ask that only those who live in areas where flooding is imminent use the supplies.” Flagler County will provide sand and bags at the following two locations: · Fire Station 71, 89 E. County Road 2006, western Flagler County · Fire Station 41, 5593 N. Oceanshore Boulevard, in the Hammock. There is a 10 bag limit per vehicle and it’s first-come, first-serve. The cities of Bunnell and Flagler Beach will provide sand and bags at the following locations: · Bunnell Fire Station 62, 1601 Old Moody Boulevard · Flagler Beach Fire Station 1, 320 S. Flagler Avenue, in the front parking lot. City of Palm Coast The City of Palm Coast has sand and sandbags available for residents at several locations.
