Port Orange, FL - An alleged sex offender is in jail in Huntington, West Virginia, pending extradition to Volusia County. The Port Orange Police Department reports that
Dana Gaye Vance was arrested at about 10 a.m. today in Huntington.
An arrest warrant for sexual battery was issued for Vance at the end of October in an incident featuring a 16-year-old, according to POPD. No other details have been released in the case.
The capture was made when POPD detectives received information that Vance was in Huntington. They directed Huntington Police to the address they had for him.
Port Orange Police had offered a $5,000 reward for information that led to Vance's arrest.
