Volusia To Hold Capacity Interviews With Charter School Applicants

DeLand, FL- The Volusia County School Board has received three applications for new charter schools seeking to open in the 2018-19 school year.   As apart of the application process, each applicant will interview with school board staff memebers.  The interviews will take place on Thursday, August 24 in the board room at the DeLand Administrative Complex, 200 N. Clara Ave., DeLand, as follows:

10 a.m. – noon          Proposed Volusia Charter Academy

1 p.m. – 3 p.m.          Proposed Ivy Hawn Middle School of the Arts and Technology

3 p.m. – 5 p.m.          Proposed Ivy Hawn High School of the Arts and Sciences
