Daytona Beach, FL - The Volusia County Home & Garden Show is back at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach from January 6 to 8.

The show turns the Ocean Center into a giant home and garden display featuring landscape and gardening experts, kitchen and bathroom designers, and related businesses showcasing everything from front entrance decoration to backyard landscapes.

Those attending the event can also get help on their home projects from experts that will be on hand. One of the experts scheduled to be there for the weekend is Matt Muenster, a licensed contractor and the star of the DIY Network's "Bath Crashers" and "BATHtastic!" series. Speaking of the Home and Garden show and similar events, Muenster had this to say: "These are kind of rare opportunities to have access to not only people but resources and materials and innovation where it's all under 1 roof. You can get a lot done in a short period of time."

The event features a kids zone and a pet zone, and there will be pet adoptions on site. Free tote bags will be given away while supplies last.

Admission costs $7 for adults 17 and older. Children 16 and under get in free. Those over 65 can get in for $6 while active duty military admission is free with an ID. A $1 off coupon can be found at ShowTechnology.com and you can get $1 off adult admission with a canned food donation which will benefit A Place for Grace Outreach Center (can't be combined with any other discount). On-site parking is $5.

The event's being held at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, 101 N Atlantic Ave, and will run from 2 to 6 PM on Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM on Saturday, and on Sunday it will run from 11 AM to 5 PM.
