Volusia County Home & Garden Show Returns To Daytona Ocean Center

Daytona Beach, FL - The Volusia County Home & Garden Show will soon return to the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach for the 7th year in a row.

On January 5, 6, and 7, hundreds of landscaping, gardening, and home improvement exhibits will fill the Ocean Center exhibit hall. Several experts, contractors, and businesses will be featured during the event as well.

The featured celebrity guest is Boyce Thompson, author of The New New Home and expert on New Home Technology. Thompson will be curating the Life-Changing Products exhibit which has also made an appearance at 10 of the biggest American home shows this year. To find the best products, Thompson follows crowd-funding campaigns, industry trade shows, and magazines and websites.

The products featured at the exhibit range from just-released products to prototypes not yet available for sale. Attendees will be able to interact and use the products at the event. Past products have included air conditioners that can know how many people are in a room, appliances that know when it is best to run, low-cost voice-and-motion-activated home automation systems, and deadbolts that monitor who comes to the door.

The event is will be held at the Ocean Center, located at 101 N Atlantic Ave. in Daytona Beach. Onsite parking will cost $5. The event's hours are as follows:

  • Friday, 1/5: 2 PM to 6 PM
  • Saturday, 1/6: 10 AM to 6 PM
  • Sunday, 1/7: 11 AM to 5 PM

Tickets can be purchased online or at the door with cash or a check. Attendees purchasing an Adult ticket will receive $1 off with a canned food donation benefiting A Place for Grace, a charity dedicated to providing encouragement and social and spiritual enrichment to those suffering. Regular admission prices are as follows:

  • Adult 17+: $8.00
  • 16 & Under: Free
  • Active Duty Military: Free
  • Senior 65+: $6.00
  • Retired Military: $6.00
