Volusia County, FL- Residents of New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater and unincorporated areas in southeast Volusia County can learn more about ongoing construction projects on Monday. District 3 Representative Deb Denys said there are so many projects going on, it was decided to hold a meeting to update people. Denys said that all projects are already funded, some of them by ECHO grants, like the Smyrna Dunes Park boardwalk and facility improvements and the Smyrna Dunes Park fishing pier. Road projects include the replacement of the Turnbull Bay Road bridge, widening of Tenth Street and West Park Avenue Road improvements. Denys will be at the meeting as will County Manager Jim Dineen and staff from the county's Public Works Department. A question and answer session will be held after the presentations. The meeting is this Monday, August 15. It begins at 6 P.M. at the Brannon Center on Riverside Drive in New Smyrna Beach.
