Deltona, FL - A violent felon, who spent time in prison for domestic battery and bank robbery, was able to land a job at a Deltona gun store.
43-year-old Jose Sanchez-Rosado was employed at GSC Tactical at 2820 Howland Ave. in Deltona, which is now closed. On July 17, following an investigation by the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Sanchez-Rosado was arrested and booked at the Seminole County Jail without bond.
According to the ATF, it is good practice for businesses, including gun stores, to do background checks on their employees, but it is not required.
