VCSO To Host Ceremony Recognizing Sheriff Johnson’s Retirement

Volusia County, FL – On Tuesday, VCSO will be hosting a ceremony recognizing Sheriff Ben Johnson’s retirement.

For the past 16 years, Sheriff Ben Johnson has met with his command staff on the 1st Tuesday of each month to conduct Sheriff’s Office business and to oversee awards and recognition ceremonies. Now, as his 16 years of service comes to an end, he’ll be the one getting recognition.

This will be his last monthly staff meeting before he leaves office on December 31.
